About Me
My name is Dawn Gutierrez. I have watched more movies than I can count. I have probably met more movie characters than I have met people in real life. Not only do I love movies, but I absolutely love how movies are made. It started when I'd watch a DVD and listen to the director's commentary out of boredom. It is very fun to hear the thought process behind the film. One person who you often never see is the screenplay writer either. They are the ones who create all of these movie characters we fall in love with. I always wanted to be a screenplay writer, but for now, I'm happy to simply write about film, the film-making process and the arts.
